Qualifications
In 2013 I graduated with a mathematics degree from Durham University (UK) at the top of my class, and was awarded the Vice Chancellor's Scholarship for Academic Excellence. After graduating with a Masters in Education from the University of Cambridge I moved to Vietnam where I taught Mathematics at the British International School, HCMC, and studied for a Diploma in Youth Counselling.
My wife and I now live in Boston with our daughter Emme, where I work as the Head of Mathematics at the British International School of Boston.
I am also an examiner for the IB, A-level Further Mathematics and IGCSE examinations (UK qualifications). This has allowed me to develop a complete understanding of the examination requirements.
Tutoring friends at a young age inspired me to become a teacher. I have experience working one-to-one with students ranging from 7 year olds up to IB/AP examinations and university level mathematics.

Other Information
Outside of the classroom, I am an acomplished sportsman with a passion for endurance triathlons and a background in competitive international rowing. In my free time, I enjoy skiing, reading, and scuba diving. I have traveled to over 60 countries, lived on four different continents, and am currently learning to speak French.
I live in Brookline, MA, with my wife, Courtney, and our young daughter, Emme. We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of our baby boy.
To help prepare my students for their examinations, I have a YouTube channel, Mr. Q Maths. Feel free to watch some of my videos to get an idea of my teaching style and practice!
